Profile

Andy studied for his degree at Manchester University in the early 1970s. Following a spell in industry Andy joined Hill Samuel in Manchester in 1980 where he worked as a Sales Manager advising private clients. After working at Heath Consulting in the early 90s Andy joined Bucklands in 1996. He is Buckland Harvester Ltd's Managing Director.

Andy holds the full Advanced Financial Planning Certificate and is eligible as a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. His main areas of specialism are pensions and he is currently engaged by a firm of actuaries in London to advise members of final salary schemes. Andy is also an investment specialist.

Outside work Andy is a keen real tennis player and plays at the Manchester Tennis and Racquets Club. He is also a footballer and bridge player. Andy is married with a grown up family and lives in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
